It was fine and then it wasn't. I heard it when I launched. Then my next start up it didnt work. Then my next start up it sounded "weak". Now it has stopped all together. Any idea where to start? MERCURY 2000 225 EFI

Update: So I have been tinkering tonight. I got underneath the console and made sure the beeper was free of obstruction. Then I pulled the cowling and snugged every electrical connection I could. I trimmed down and tried the key...BEEP! Ok good, problem solved. Tried it again and it worked. Trimmed up and it stopped again. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere at the outboard or in the plastic wiring harness running to the hull. Any other thoughts?
I had a beeper replaced and that solved my issue. The original beeper was working intermittently.
