I'll be headed up there in a couple weeks for the event. First time fishing the Madison chain. Any tips anyone is willing to share

Monona Has been on fire the past few years, water might be alge bloom blue/green though, can fish Madison about any way you want to and produce fish!

Pulled 18lbs in 45min a month ago and proceeded pound on fish all day. But those schools are starting to disperse a bit on waubesa as of late and can be very hit or miss as summer progresses. Your best bet is to move to monona.

Unfortunately I am stuck on Waubesa...that's where we are having our event.

You can get a limit off of docks then go flip the outside edge.

Wow! That really sucks. I mean plenty of fish on waubesa but sucks not having the option to hit monona or either of the muds.
