Question Helix 5 + Minnkota US2 transducer in Terrova depth problems

I have Helix 5 for about 4 years. It was working perfect with the original transducer but connecting to new Terrova US2 I get only problems.
Depth reading in auto is out of whack ( 8' shows as 200' without any bottom)
If I set it manually to 50' it seems to be working fine, anything above is no go.
Another problem is that I get about 3/8 inch of blue on top all the time.
Onix in the same are working fine, and is off when using the Helix.
No change if the trolling motor is on or off.

    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

    Thanks for reply Wayne!
The first one, with Di and GPS
I know that US2 does not support Di.

Which one of the first ones? There are Sonar models, Down Imaging models, Side Imaging models with and without GPS.

OK a Down Imaging unit in that generation uses 200/455 kHz for 2D sonar and 455/800 kHz Down Imaging.
The US2 transducer does 83/200 kHz 2D sonar and no Imaging of any kind.

Don't remember if that model is adaptable to the US2, but if it is, you would have a unit setting for Generic 83/200 kHz.

Yes, got it set to 200 since I don't see 83/200 option
    They show this compatibility
    HELIX 5 G1 SERIES
    HELIX 5 SI GPS KVD
    HELIX 5 SI GPS
    HELIX 5 SONAR GPS
    HELIX 5 SONAR
