    Chinese parts

Based on suggestions I got here I am going to replace the bearings in my hubs. While searching for them online I found what appears to be the right part at etrailer but the picture shows it marked China.

Will this be a problem? I know there are many who complain on here about Chinese tires.

Personally I would stay away from Chinese bearings.

    Waymire's and Eastern Marine.

OEM UFP parts (seals and bearings) are not made in the USA but I use them anyways. Proper lubricant and torqueing the spindle nut correctly goes a long way regardless of where the pars are manufactured.

My boat shop replaced mine on my 2011 Ranger Trail trailer with Timken bearings. They said they don't use Chinese bearings. I had a bearing fail in the rear end of my F150 and it turned out that it was a Chinese bearing. The other bearings that made up the bearing set were fine and were timken bearings. Chinese products are junk. I avoid them if I know there is another option. Even if it costs more. Wont run their junk tires either.

I was actually going to ask that next.

I would think that even though not made in USA they must be made to some standard that is better than a knock-off.

Napa Auto parts is a good source for bearings. Worse case it takes a day to get. P.S. order bearing races and seals as well.!!

Watch out if you buy spark plugs, especially Iridium plugs. The Chinese are counterfeiting them, they don't even contain Iridium.

Waymire in Indianapolis carry UFP components. Just order some from them. Good people to do business with.

Timken bearings on Amazon are reportedly Made in USA also, though the Timken seals are made in Taiwan.
