    Ultrex Troll Tamer

Here's what I did to get rid of the bounce buster. Holds the TM quite firmly in both directions.

What exactly are you looking for?

Basically, a TH Marine Products Troll Tamer with an added TH pull cable. Put the handle on the TM cable, drilled a hole in the TT arm and used the cable and MK handle.

Only other thing is I milled the catch pin down so TM store catch wouldn't latch. So, only pull TT cable and deploy TM.

Cable cover came from Amazon, split loom that you can get in a lot of different colors.

I've had one on my last 3 trolling motors. I try to tell everyone about it. Its a MUST have for big rough waters.

Wish they made one short enough for my boat. I only have 2 3/8" from bottom of stowed Ultrex and deck on my Skeeter.

I have the exact same thing but without the extra pull cord. I like it, might be an addition in the future. With the bounce buster there is NO bounce. This is a must when on big water!!!!

I have seen people with the similar problem use a piece of aluminium angle iron. 1"x 1" piece bolted (not screwed) on to the side of the MK bracket (instead of the bottom) facing the foot pedal. Mount the troll tamer to the bottom of the angle iron. Clean up the edges and make the angle iron look nice and there you go.
