    Livescope wiring

Has everyone wired their livescope straight to the battery? I have a Phoenix with the blue sea box in the front compartment and I am hoping it would be suitable.

How is the Blue Sea box wired? Is it wired direct to the battery with 10GA or larger wire?

The GLS10 does not draw large amount of power but is said to not be tolerant of voltage drops/fluctuations.

I ran all mine to the battery. Make sure to ground the black box too. There is a silver grounding terminal separate from the usual power/ground cable.

The blue sea box is wired to the battery with 8 AWG wire.

You should be good to go...mine is similar and no problems thus far.

I have a fuse block up front and at console wired in series on 10GA direct to battery. On this circuit I'm powering (3) Garmin units, Live Scope and NMEA network...all is good. Note...I have this circuit on a master kill switch at the console due to the GLS10 still draws power when the units are shut down.

I have my LiveScope powered through the Blue Sea fuse box on a Phoenix 21PHX and all is good. Also allows you to kill the power to the LiveScope box wired this way.

I run mine through a Blue Sea Fuse box as well. No issues as mentioned. I also run four graphs off of the same box.
