Who is everybody using for service these days? I used M&C and know where he is but want to try and stay local if I can. Had an issue that needs to be looked at and may need a set of plugs. Thanks

Ok so far I'm 0-62. Anyone use SMI off Westport Rd?

I'm pretty sure anglers outpost will work on them as well as professional marine, but I think I'd make the trip up to Craig, he/s the only Evinrude master mechanic I know of. I never trusted anyone else to work on mine.
If your in Louisville its not that far to Patoka Lake where Craig is located. Here is his contact information...http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=973068
I used Anglers Outpost in Lancaster. Robbie was recommended to me on here so I took it there. They were extremely fair to me.
JR19 is exactly right. I had heard that Robbie was good and was recommended. He will tell it like it is. Trust me, I could have shaved 45 minutes off of my drive by using the one in Sheperdsville but I just didn't have anything to go on.
I went to riverside marine as no one was really close. I actually used their dealer lookup on their website and they were the closest platinum dealer---which made me feel more comfortable with the 3 yr maintenance. I was unsure when I first pulled in but their mechanic knew his stuff--or at least presented it very well. I'll go back.
SMI is good. As is BnJ. SMI May have a better turn around time.
