Sorry. I’m just seeing the replies. The roast turned out a little dry. Anyone have a recommendation for a good, reliable meat thermometer? The flavor was good on the roast, though. As stated, it’s like making brisket, but faster. I will try again after I get a good thermometer.
That looks delicious! It made me think of something when I saw the meat claws. I didn't know this till I saw my wife do it. If you put the chunks of meat in the kitchen aid mixer with the dough hook.... shreds the meat like a champ. Anyway, just a tip yall may already know, but thought I would throw it out there.
a few cooks i did the past couple weeks!....
my buddies annual pig roast. 3rd season i help em out and cook the pig and drink all their beer lol

Fantastic work, once again!
I'm a newbie in this smoker game.. and a yankee at that.... I'm getting better, I've only used my smoker a handful of times, but damn is it fun. Been able to mess around a lot more working from home. I must admit I'm getting pretty good at ribs. 3, 2, 1 method for this rookie is a helpful little no brainer crutch for a beginner. IMG_1663.JPG
Crappie fish fry. It don't taste any better.
solid turn out on those ribs! cant go wrong using the 3-2-1 method!
Curious what smoker are you using!?

Smoke Hollow propane. I bought it used on the side of the road for 10 bucks
It's not going to last long, but it was perfect to get my feet wet! I'll upgrade when it falls fully apart, but for right now I love it.
