    Great Fathers Day

My kids made me breakfast and gathered around while I opened my card. My daugher-in -law was standing beside me while they asked that I read it out loud. The final hand written part said I'll have a new fishing buddy in Jan 2020. WOW I'm gonna be a PAWPAW. I was totally surprised and it must have been dusty in there because my eyes got watery.

Awesome Dave, Your daughter-in -law and mine must have planned this. Last part of my card said "Your new fishing buddy will be here Feb. 2020.
I can't wait. Might have to take a trip to Robertsdale when they get old enough to hold the ol fishing pole. Congrats

There's nothing better than having grandkid's, I have two 1 girl & 1 boy, bad thing is they're growing up to fast and pawpaw can't keep up anymore. Spend all the time you can with them, they are special. Congratulation.

Congrats to you and the family!! As mentioned above, nothing like being a pawpaw. Allergies and dust got the best of me to when they told me about the impending birth. My granddaughter is 14mos old now and can't wait to introduce her to the outdoors. Got our son, her daddy, a t-shirt for father's day that said "don't touch my tools or my daughter."

    Contrats to all of you!!!!

Became a Grandpa end of October in 2017, greatest feeling ever holding that little guy for the first time! Others said it right, they grow so fast and since I don't get to see mine in a regular basis as they live 672 miles away it seems like even faster. Thank the Lord for video chat on my tablet!!!
