No, not specifically but items made overseas are manufactured at a much lower cost. All I was saying is if the OP is going to have to pay to get a replacement rod I wouldn’t even mess with Fitzgerald. Much better options in the same price range or below.
The Fitzgerald rode that I own have a made in USA sticker on them. I do not know if they all do. I suspect that their newer cheaper offerings are imported.

They are made right here in Florida, I believe. The owner of Fitzgerald rods fishes the Harris Chain frequently. Him and his dad just fished the Holiday Marine Wed. night tourney. I believe his name is Trevor Fitzgerald. Thinking they live in Ocala.
