    Live wells

Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2019 zx250 and when the valve dial
beside the drivers seat is in the closed position, there is still
some water coming into the live wells. It’s not a lot but I would like to know if this is normal.

It’s normal in mine. Open or closed I still get water in the live wells. I think I’m going to put plugs in mine as I never use them. I could use the storage room.

I get some water in mine. However it is a live well, never bothered me one bit. On the way home I make sure valve is open and plugs are out. Just nothing I get upset or spending time thinking about. It's not like it is a dry locker storage unit.

It's normal. If I remember correctly, the valve in the back has thin rubber flaps that are designed to keep water in, not out.

Sounds like the wire is not closing the input side all the way...should stay dry, after time the
lines get gunk build up and you have to back flush the lines but on a new boat sounds like you
need it adjusted to close all the way...mine stays dry
