what website do you guys use to look at lake levels for Rough River lake?

I went to Rough River yesterday and the lake was super high. What site do you guys use to view lake levels and how much water the dam is pulling?

I like the site in the link I provided because it gives inflow and outflow. Many times I have heard people say I drove across the dam and they are pulling water pretty good but in reality that does not necessarily mean the lake is falling. By having the inflow information to compare to the outflow you know if the lake is on the rise or fall. Plus the link gives current main gate setting and the anticipated main gate setting for the next 24 hours. It also list current level as well as amount of rainfall in the last 24 hours. There is other information but what I mentioned is the key information I look at.

The link includes everything in the Green River watershed. If looking for Rough River lake the look for RRR. The other three lakes are Green GRR, Barren BRR and Nolin NRR.

One thing I forgot to mention is the link I provided does not list the actual number for summer pool. Over the years I have memorized the numbers for all four of those lakes. If you don't know the actual summer pool number you can look at the % stored number and get an idea of how much the lake is over summer pool. At 0.00% the lake is at summer pool. On 6/17 Rough was at an elevation of 502.3 This translates into being 19% of its flood storage capacity...at 100% the water will crest over the flood pool level. They do not list the number for summer pool but it is 495. With the lake being 502.3 it is 7.3 ft over summer pool but all the link shows is it is 19% into its flood capacity.

This is a good one too. It updates every few hours and has a buttload of lakes.
