Almost to the end of the list

I have been waiting on a repower since October 2018. boat has been sitting in the garage motorless since then. Basically I have lost pretty much the entire season of fishing. While waiting on my motor I thought it would be a good time to catch up on some maintenance issues that were overdue.

1 Repack all 4 wheel bearings. I say repack because I paid last spring to have a board sponsor do it and I wouldn't be doing it again if they had done it right the first time. sometimes if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

    2 Remove all 4 batteries

3 Replace all pumps in bilge

4 Re epoxy both transducers in bilge

5 Welded support braces and straightened trap door that supports batteries

6 Remove battery charger and configure charging leads to plug into charger

7 Build box for charger for occasions when I am needing to charge but not at home

    8 Replace rub rail

9 Reattach carpet rolling down inside rod lockers

I have some recarpeting to do on the bunks and one inner fender panel.

    Hope my motor comes soon.

Great choice! You are really going to enjoy the 4 stroke motor.

Would like some details on the rub rail. Not wanting to open up a can of issues by starting it cause mine is in perfect condition but I hate having the rope. I've snagged several dri-fit shirts and scraped the hide off my stomach climbing in from taking a swim.

This is what the insert looks like. I left the base/track attached to the boat and just replaced the insert. If your base/track will take a vinyl rub rail like this then you should be able to switch over. Several years ago I had a rope rub rail switched to a vinyl rub rail but I don't know if the base/track was changed or not.
