    Relocating transducer

    I need to move transducer to different location on transom. What should i use to fill old screw holes with?

    There are many ways to do this silcone,bono, up weld and so on when I did mine I use expos resin inject into hole then but over sized screw in let dry then spread some more over screw heads

    The easiest is to just put silicone in the holes and run stainless screws back in the hole. Wipe away the excess and you are good. Just wait 24hrs before you put the boat in the water.

    If this is a fiberglass boat and you don't want to see the holes ever then you would do the same thing that they do to fix dings and scratches. You would fill the holes with a fiberglass bondo, sand smooth, spray gelcoat to cover up the repair. (very crude instructions) I would google gelcoat repair and you will see a bunch of good videos. Justin from Russel Marine has a few good ones.
