    Basically.... you lose all the reason you bought the card for in the first place. Sonar Chart and all those really neat contour lines @ 1' intervals...

    Yeah.... it took'em a while but they finally latched on the the "subscription" based movement. Hell.... even my toilet paper is subscription based now!

    If you fish lots of different places I think you need the update. If you fish the same place all the time like me, not so much. Up to you!
