    Spot lock issues??????

I have an Ulterra and the Spotlock keeps
losing the GPS signal. Is this common, or
could it be the area I'm in. Is there a chance
I did something wrong on the initial setup ??

Its fantastic when its working. LDS

How do you know its losing GPS signal or is it just losing spotlock? If the peddle is bumped or there is any resistance when the motor turns, it will unlock it. I'd check to be sure you don't have anything binding the head when it trys to turn first.

OOPS, Losing the signal was an assumption on my
part, since the light went out. This is the first for me
    and just searching for clues.
The first time it acted up I was sitting under some trees,
and it seemed possible that the signal may be blocked.
The next time I was in an area w/no overhead obstruction
on a road bed, 8' of water no reason to lose the signal, but it still
turned off. As soon as I noticed it being off, I would re-anchor.
I would last a few min then turn off. I'll ck the binding situation as suggested.
    Thanks LDS

if you do anything to the pedal or remote its more than likely your turning it off, just bump a steering or anything

To my knowledge, everytime it has kicked off, my feet have been
far removed from the pedal, and I haven't as yet used the remote.
These suggestion will give me something to consider. Thanks. LDS

After setting spotlock on the remote, use the lock button to make sure you do not accidently turn spotlock off. This will lock the buttons and touch screen. This is what I do sometimes if I am moving around a lot.

Ulterra and the Terrova are very, very voltage sensitive make sure your batteries are in good shape. try fishing and using spot-lock by the remote only all day and see if problem still exists.

This^^^^. Sounds like you are losing power , check the cables and your batteries.
