    Sitting in the ER with my son

    My 8 year old son started complaining about his right side hurting tonight. When I pushed on it a little he about came out of his seat. I looked at my wife and told her we need to get this checked tonight because this could be his appendix. They are running test now we have seen 2 doctors and a surgeon. Please throw up a few prayers for him.

    UPDATE
    Just found out his Appendix looks to be fine they are letting him eat if the pain doesn’t get worse he will get to come home

    We are free after 22 hours. Jake seems to be feeling better and more like his old self. They are thinking it could have been viral or several other possibilities. Thanks for the prayers

    We have seen another surgeon (the last one’s boss). She is calling in her boss. They want to do an ultrasound but cannot until the tech comes in at 8. CT scan is another option but there is radiation concerns. If it is his appendix we caught it early it sounds like.
