Tire blow out 2010 Z-7 trailer

Second tire blow out in 5 years tow master tire 205/75/14, rim, boat and trailer are fine. Looking for info to upgrade to a better tire in 14” size. Thanks

UPDATE: i ended up getting 2 Goodyear Endurance 215/75/14 as replacements. Thanks for all your input.

I changed my tires to Goodyear Endurance as soon as I got it. I had a set on my previous Ranger. I am not very trusting of what some folks on some of the rv forums call China bombs. The Endurance is made in Alabama.

    Will a 215/75r14 fit on a Z-7 trailer? I currently have 205/75r14

There is some variation in tire diameter between brands and models. Your current tires are 26” diameter and most 215s are about 26.7 to 27” diameter. You’ll lose a quarter to half inch of fender clearance and have to back the trailer a few inches further into the water to launch and load.
