    Ventilation issues with summer prop

My boat is a 2005 Triton TR 196dc with a 200hp optimax. In the summer at lake Powell (3300ft elevation) and 85-100 degrees I switch to my back up prop to carry a load in the heat better. It's a quick silver laser II 23 pitch.

It spun the hub a year ago and before and after getting it repaired it continues to ventilate when getting up on plane. Is this a fixable issue with more cup? I've lowered the engine a bit from where my 25p prop likes to run and it's done nothing to help. Ideas?

I'd see if I could find a 23 trophy. A laser 2 is not the best prop for that boat, it runs best on smaller (17'ish) boats with less than 150 hp. It's not worth putting any extra money in it to have if worked. JMO

Lasers were not designed to run on 3 L motors you would be a lot better off with a 23 tempest on the 196.
