2010 Silverado 1500 w/5.3, 187000 mi. Just replaced lifters to fix a loud AFM tick. Went ahead and replaced alternator, water pump, temp sensor, idler pulley, all belts/hoses, etc. since I had them off though they were all working fine. Hope to get another 200k out of it since I can't afford a new one at the current crazy prices.

2006 Tundra with 191,000. About to do the second timing belt and water pump. Other than new shocks, and a valve gasket, nothing other than routine maintenance. I bought it in 2008 with 20,000 miles on it.

It’s good to see some of these vehicles pushing 200k and more. I am about to buy my son his first truck and most trucks in our target price range are 160k and above. I have located a 2002 4x4 Ranger with a V6 and the asking price is $4975. Hopefully it checks out ok and has cold air.

We run all of our work vans over 300k before working them out of the fleet; usually just brakes, tires, and oil. Chevrolet Express vans. Must say the new ones don’t age as well as the ones 10 years ago.

My personal vehicle, typically 50k and trade. Just picked up my new 2019 F150, 649miles young....

Same here, but I'm at 309k and my transmission is still original. My father in law had an 02 with over 400k on a 4.8l. He sold it a few years ago. Those NBS Silverado/Sierras were some good machines aside from them rusting really bad.

I've also got a 2011 Silverado that I bought two years ago with 88k on it. It's up to 124k now.

I had a '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 that I put 217K on the clock. Loved driving it....worst car I ever owned. Other than the solid as a rock 4.0 inline 6, there wasn't much that didn't get worked on...every window regulator, a couple more than once....every brake rotor multiple times...cooling fan motor.... couple of alternators...both front seat backs broke and had to be welded...EGR valve at least once per year...and a transmission rebuild and was needing another when I traded it for $1200 towards my first Chevy pickup; '08 Silverado.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.

just sold my 2000 gmc sierra z71. had 308K.

however it was on its 3rd transmission and I put a 6l at 140k miles because of an obnoxious valve clacking. I also did a lot of preventive maintenance and if something broke no matter how large or small I got it fixed. Finally left me on side the road (rear end) and I said that's enough. I think the only think left stock was the body.

Been driving rams trucks since 2002 and trade anywhere from 3 to 10 years depending upon mileage, conditions or opportunity. Recently upgraded my 13 ram for an 18 Ecodiesel because of the discounts but only had 57,000 on it. Wife's 15 only has 26,000 miles so she will likely be trading up much later.

Dealer back in the day said 70,000 was the magic trade mileage. This number offered the most trade value depending upon model year.
