Remington 9mm ammo on sale at Academy 7.99

If you have an academy close by they have some Remington 9mm ammo for 7.99 a box. Brass case too. I try to at least grab a few boxes when I find it this cheap just to have on hand

That is a good price for a single box. You cannot beat it by much buying by the case.

That’s $.16 per round how much cheaper can you reload than that? Maybe I should look into this.

I just went to their website to see if it's also available for online ordering, sadly it is a "in-store only" sale price. Two of my 9s really like the 124gr+ bullet weights, but that's a pretty good price, especially for a general sporting goods store. Thanks for the heads up

You can often find 9mm rounds for even less if you shop places like Lucky Gunner, Freedom munitions, etc. Right now Lucky Gunner has Tula FML 115gr on sale for $0.14. One advantage of the 9mm is definitely cheap to feed

I loaded up when Dunhams blew out Speers for 8.99. Academy isn't close otherwise I'd add in more. That's a good price.

9mm is the one cartridge that I typically do not reload. Too big of a variance in the bore diameter to match lead bummers for all guns and the cost savings is not great without going lead.

I used to. Don’t have the time anymore with a 5 year old running around the house.

LOL, It doesn't get better for a while. Better stock up on ammo while it's on sale. Of course, you may find that being a Dad greatly reduces shooting time as well.

Meh - I bought a 350 round bucket of it last year on a special somewhere for about 12cpr with some rewards certificate I had. Shot about 100 rounds and was not impressed with how dirty it shot, and had a lot more muzzle flash than others I was rotating through. I'm sure I'll work through the rest of it eventually. I stocked up on a case of Magtech which is made in the same factory as Sellier & Bellot. S&B is my preference in range/FMJ, but the Magtech was local and I'm pretty sure they had mispriced the box. Me and one other guy grabbed the last 2 cases, looked at each other and walked up to the register without saying a word, lest we jinx it.
