What’s the best, and cheapest 12 inch screen for Livescope?

It’ll be dedicated to Livescope only.

I just purchased a new Echomap Ultra 122 unit without a transducer and with the basic worldwide map. It has a high resolution anti-glare screen that is a vast improvement over the 93sv plus unit I started with. I'm just using it for Livescope. Retail is $2,300.

I have 93 SV now. I’m in mid 50’s and I’ll be darn that, that screen gets smaller every trip. Thanks!

I second the GPSMAP 1222 just know it’s not touch screen. For $600 more you can get a touch screen I think it’s a GPSMAP 1242 check with Brian @ BBG MARINE he will give you solid advice.

I agree, check with Brian. The 1222 was my 2nd choice, it cost less but I really wanted the better anti-glare screen with polarized support. Plus I really like the touch screen feature.

I have used a 1042, 1242 and now one of the new touch screens. For a Livescope only use the 1242 is tough to beat. It,s non-touch but the way they have programmed the knobs adjusting the settings is easy.

1222 is a 1242 without transducer or maps, it's a good unit for sure.

I'm running a 1222 and have had no problems. Call The Bass Tank and they will set you up.

I have the same. No need for the touch screen if it only for Livescope

The Garmin GPSMAP 1222 Chartplotter has by far been the best seller for combining with Livescope for those that only need a stand-alone 12 inch unit.

not to steal the thread but what if I would want to run side scan/2d sonar from time to time on the 12" garmin, maybe split screen. I have a HDS gen 2 up front I run mapping/down scan on. I love lowrance touch abilities, presently have a 93SV also up front (not plus) I run sidescan/2d on and I hate the non touch aspects of it.

my plan was a live 12 lowrance/livesight up front but my plans are changing..........
