    Rectec in the rain

Are there any issues with using a Rectec in the rain? I'm planning on putting a brisket on about 2 or 3 in the morning, but there is a chance for rain and storms tonight. I'm really just worried about the controller. Is it water proof or do I need to be worried about it getting wet?

Do you have the rain caps for the vents? Mine has been wet before because i forgot to wheel it back under the deck during rain. Still works fine.

I dont have the vent covers may look at finding a way to cover them a little bit just in case. Rectec called me about 5 minutes ago and said the same thing. They said the controller would be fine and if something did go wrong with it because of the rain they would replace it. He said the only issue I could have would be with the vents. Guess Ill have to look into those.
I sent them a message on their website and about an 45 minutes or an hour later, I got a phone call from them with the info I needed. Their customer service is great.
