Tin boat upgrades that are useless but im still doing them

All the high water has left my doing a lot of looking at my boat in the shop instead of using it. This is costing me money!

I recently upgraded the bow electronics and am in the process of upgrading my console units as well. Here is a few other things I want to do.

    1.Electronics
    2. Rims/tires (Nothing fancy just something not as plain as current wheels. I need new tires soon so thought why not?)
    3. Led lights inside
    4. Millennium seats for back and front deck.

Where are you all buying your wheel and tire packages from?

My boat is an 06 fisher 1710 (similar to tracker 175).

Again, I know this is all useless but why not!?

I bought a Millennium seat. I love it. They are great. I have a buddy that fishes in the back of my RT a good bit. He sat in my Millennium seat for about 5 minutes one day while I was busy with something else and he ran the trolling motor. He went home and ordered him one from Amazon LOL. Ordered it that very day. He moves it from his boat to mine when we go now. BEST fishing seat I ever sat on.

By the way, I owned a Fisher boat for a few years once. It was a very good boat and well built.

Lol I installed LED lights under the gunnel. They were cool but utterly useless. And yes I fished early dark mornings and late evenings. Others liked them though.

Good to hear about the seats! My first bought I bought when I was 15 was a 1989 fisher 16 ft with a 40 horse mariner. I sold it to my dad prob 10 years ago. It has been flawless and mom and dad still use it on a regular basis. I knew when I found the one I got now in the condition it was in that I wanted it!

I bought the palma horse style last year, and love it:

Then decided to get a seat style one, and love it also

I like using the palma horse style when I fish up on Lake Erie. It is VERY comfortable, and keeps you VERY stable when straddling it in rougher water.
I use the seat style for inland lakes. I like both.

The LED light upgrade for inside the boat is not "useless" if you do a lot of night fishing.
