Motor to Jackplate

I know my prop to pad measurements, just wondering where ( which hole ) the motor is mounted from
the factory or where the dealer mounts to the Jackplate...right now my motor is mounted in the third hole
down but it looks like it was in the first hole at one time....the boat was a demo when I bought it and
I am playing with the setup for performance.. I appreciate and info, thank you !!! Looking for Skeeters starting
point, boats a 2016 FX20 and I'm playing with Tempest and Trophy along with FXP 25 and 26 pitch props...

When SHO motors are mounted to the shipping crate frame they use the top hole so it would be marked a bit.

Curious how the 25 and 26 FXP run? Have thought about one of them as a spare to my 25T1.

My 26 FXP runs strong but I think the motor has more in, I can hit 6000 but that's a pretty light load...
I have a 26 Tempest and a 25 Trophy I want to run but the weather has been so shitty the boat hasn't
left the garage...seems like it rains rains rains every day and starting today we are in Flood Watch for the banks of
the upper Delaware....river is closed for canoes and rafts, thats a big hit for the local economy, up here
you either make it in the summer months or starve during the winter...
