    USA Bass Boat Pumps

I'm going to replace all my pumps in my 2005 Skeeter TZX 190. Right now they are all 500gpm pumps. Any recommendations for improvement, brands, etc.... I'm definitely going to increase GPMs as possible. I have 5 pumps now; 1 automatic bildge, 2 recirculating, and 2 livewell. Let me know your thoughts, your opinions are valued.

If you want to text or call me to chat about this topic call Jim 815-979-2409

    Thank you
    Thanks,

    Rule
    2000 bulge pump
    800 cartridge for livewells

Quick release plugs make pumps changes easy.

I really like Johnson pumps and I would definitely put in a manual operated bilge pump (750gph) about 4 inches higher than the auto pump, simply because it would/may be hard for just one pump to meet the needs sometime.

Bilge pump can only pump what the outlet hose can carry. Bigger pump, bigger hose.

above is true for all pumps, however most of these will be 3/4" hose. If the pump needed bigger hose, it would come with a bigger outlet. I wouldn't change the gph of the pumps. I've seen some livewells that will not drain through the overflow as quick as the higher gph pumps are pumping and end of overflowing livewells. I would go for as large as possible with the current hose on the bilge pump. I believe the Skeeter factory uses Rule. I've had good luck with both Rule and Johnson/SPX
