    Boat storage questions

Couple thinks. The 2008 Triton catalog says the storage length of my TR186 is 20'. I measured it this morning at its more like 22'. When I look at the 19 and 20 TRX they list storage lengths of 22'9" and 22'11". So how accurate are those listing in on the website? I could probably make that fit.

Me second question, is since i have to put the boat in at an angle, who as luck with moving a tandem axle trailer around on dollies in the garage?

Edit: Maybe dolly is not the right word. I mean the rolling stands that you put under one set of wheels.

Sounds like a hassle to do that unless you fish a few times a year.

Well, it’s alreayd a hassle. I’m trying to determine if it is much more of a hassle.

Get 4 Go Jacks and you can push it anywhere you want or you can just get 4 four wheel dollies than don't jack but you have to jack the trailer each time. You can roll it around on two jacks but you can't push it side ways. That length should be with the tongue folded on the trailer unless it's on a longer trailer than a factory one or the tongue doesn't fold.

Yeah, I thought about the go jacks. Was wondering if the storage length on the website was off since it was so clearly wrong with my 186.

My 20 trx is about 23' from prop with motor trimmed down to the front of the swing away tongue so those numbers sound pretty accurate to me.

Do you have a jack plate or anything like that on your boat?

My garage is 23’ deep where I store my 20trx and I have to move the front over about a foot to angle the boat just a bit to close the door.

That's with the motor trimmed down vertical, tongue folded and no jack plate.
