    Tatula 6’10” medium spinning rod

Anyone have any experience with this rod for drop shots? I broke my drop shot rod last week and was looking at maybe grabbing this. My previous rod was an original 13 Omen 6’10”ml. Was looking for an action similar to that as I have other drop shot rods for heavier weights and Texas rigging ds

In the daiwa line of rods i've found a ML to be much better at drop shots than a M

I agree. The Tatula Elite 7'ML is a fantastic drop shot rod.

I typically use a medium light for drop shot fishing but the regular Tatula 6’10” medium is rated for up to 3/8 oz. So I figured this was a drop shot model

The standard Tatula 6'10" medium is more powerful than the Elite 7'ML. The 610M would be fine for drop shots 1/4 oz and a little larger, but the Tatula Elite is better for under 1/4 oz weights.

The lure ratings on the 6'10 m tatula are the same as my old fuego 6'9 ml

That’s why I’m thinking it’d be a good drop shot rod
