    2000 mercury 225 EFI

    My brother n law is looking at a boat with 225 EFI on it can y’all give me some input on this motor and what should the compression be. Thanks

    Forget compression tests. It is only a rough diagnostic tool. Have a leakdown test performed. It is a much better indicator of overall cylinder performance.
