St Lawrence River Or Plan B

I made plans to fish the river this year and have seen the winds fluctuate from good to bad the past few days. I plan on going up with my pops and 2 friends. Looking for a solid backup plan if the winds kick up real bad and I’m aware of the bad flooding but heard the fishing should still be real good on the river. Thinking about Sodus Bay but not sure if the ramp at Sodus Point is open due to flooding. Considering Chaumont or Henderson Bay as a backup as well. We were hoping to get into some good pre spawn smallmouth. Any input would be great.

If wind is your concern then neither chaumont or Henderson bay are an option. Unless you went up the river past the bridge in chaumont, but then your talking largies not smallmouth.
