    Livescope down / forward view question

    I got my Livescope and 10 Ultra installed tonight. Everything turned on, when I went to Panoptix it is on Downview, will it auto select to forward view when it gets in the water or do I have to change something?

    Mine auto selects even out of the water. You should be able to manually select forward or down as well.

    When it is stowed, it cannot detect the vertical mounting. The default is AUTO so when it is in the water it should auto select based on the orientation.
    To manually select Down or Forward:
    Menu->Sonar Setup->Installation->Orientation
    My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

    Thanks! I couldn't find it in the manual. I'm really excited to try it this weekend.

    As mentioned above, it will change (assuming you have it angled for forward) once it’s deployed. Mine did the same thing and when I got on the water it went straight to forward.

    It also changes when you hit a stump and move the transducer. Don't ask me how I know! ;)

    You can take it off of auto and put it on forward, - menu, sonar setup, installation, orientation
