Prop for 89 Johnson 110?

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to figure out the best prop to buy for my 1989 Johnson 110. It's mounted on an 89 ranger 320v.
Ive had a few props on it, first was a turbo - that read 013 1/4 20 - hit something with it so it became a conversation piece.
I had another prop, I think it was a 20 pitch and Currently I have a MI-wheel vortex that reads 13x19. I have trouble getting it on plane at times and sometimes it won't even plane out.
I want to know If anyone has any ideas for a different prop. Should I go back to stainless? Could that be why? Can I go lower in pitch? I don't know much about props but that is one of the main things that bothers me about my boat. I know it's an older boat so it's probably alot heavier than the new ones but I've been dealing with it for a few years now so I'd really like to know if I have any options. I do want a newer boat but can't afford it now so I just want mine to be running as good as can be for hole shot potential.
