    Shimano reel repair?

I have a Stella 2500FA that binds when reeling in under a load; however without a load on the line it reels in very smooth. I sent it back to Shimano and was told they don't have the parts as the reel is too old. Are there any reel repair shops that could help me with this.

Stryker rod and reel repair service in So. WALES, FL. They gave me some good quotes. Basically they'll give it a good cleaning and see what doesnt look/feel right. Shimano stops supporting reels after about 10yrs and sells out thier parts inventory to shops

ReelEx, BBC board sponsor, is excellent. I've used him once and just bought an older Citica here that he serviced. He does excellent work, and his turn around times are very fast.

there are NO PARTS for the F's and FA's
unless a tuner has in stock. I'd be happy to assist you. I have a fairly decent supply of early Stella parts in stock. Dan
