    Jackplate on a 2080

I’m getting ready to order a 2080. I will be adding a hydraulic jackplate. What size is recommended?

    Thanks in advance.

Assume you are going with a Mercury? I have an Atlas 6" on my 1980. That is typically what I am seeing on 2080's.

Yes I will be going Mercury. Currently have a X19 with a 10” and didn’t know what performed the best on the Vexus.

Just remember for comparison purposes the G2 with dps has 6” setback built in that a mercury doesnt.

xpress x19, 200ho G2, aluminum sawtooth cut prop, paper sack tackle storage, ugly stik pro team, color c-lector

I didn't think you could put a JP on the 200 G2's. Just curious as I know Vexus does not offer it as a build option. I am going to a 2080 from my 1980 and originally wanted to stay with the G2 but I wanted a JP.

Vexus wont put it on at the factory, but your dealer will.

I have not had a chance to really open her up yet, as my wife has been with me and gets scared really easy lol.
But at the dealer at time of test ride saw briefly 64mph, that was before i added dual 8' blades.
