    Most of the time i am running right on the middle with all setting except color gain. i usually have color gain turned up to 85-90.

    what unit is that, is there only gain and distance on the quick screen in the middle or is there depth?

    that is the 1222xsv non touch. The dial only has gain and distance. Depth is done from menu.
