    Vero Beach area

I just moved to Vero Beach area and looking for info on the lakes nearby. I have heard different stories but no real info on the local lakes as far as what is safe to run a boat in or not. I just figured I would ask and se what pops up. Mainly looking for lakes that are not part of Stick Marsh that are safe for a bass boat. Thanks for any info. Feel free to PM me if needed.

Southern ramp on Kissimmee right off 60 isn’t too bad a drive from Vero, maybe 50-55 minutes. Lake Cypress Public ramp on the Kissimmee Chain’s lake Cypress is 1 hour 15 min. Northern ramps on Okeechobee are about an hour away so that’s reasonable. Loxahatchee wildlife refuge is about an hour and a half. Beyond that, Garcia, Keenansville and Blue Cypress while part of the Stick Marsh area are awesome and relatively simple to figure out.

Water is low everywhere, but will come up quick with these continued rains

If you don't see what you need either lake or tournament trail, use the contact form to request it. Or email it to admin@basssavvy.com.
