2006 300 HPDI Question (Impellar Replacement)

I have recently noticed that my water pressure isn't what it should be. After watching several videos on how to replace the water pump impeller, there seems to be varying opinions on how to remove the metal sleeve that sits on top of the impeller. What to you guys recommend??

It will usually pop off by prying with a couple flat screwdrivers. I've also had some that were really stubborn. I just order new with the impeller kit.

Yeah, just order the complete kit. The only thing re-used are the two washers and the wave washer between them. Pick up a small tube of 3M 847 and put a very small amount in the groove of the cover gasket to keep it in place while setting.
