    Ultrex Steering cables replacement

    Anyone on here changed steering cables out on an Ultrex themselves? If so Any tips?

    I have changed quite a few. If you're asking for tips, I would take it to an ASC. It is a little more in depth than the normal steering cable change out.

    Would love to take it to ASC but like most I cannot go 2 weeks or longer waiting on a set of cables to be put on. Understand the warranty issue but I’m confident I can make this repair and should not affect the 6 months of warranty I have left. I appreciate the concern

    MY tips
    Take pictures, mark the cables (L-R) and the cable drum where the (L-R) cable attaches and also where the drum sits on the splined shaft .. take your time !!!!.
