Poor Mans Tournament
Saturday June, 15^th
Tranters creek (Masons Landing) Washington,NC
Safelight(5:30AM Or safelight) – 3:30PM
Registration will open at 4:30 at ramp
Live well checks on the water when number is called
Team Format
$35.00 A team ($5 dollars goes to big fish pot)
Payout will be one place every 6 boats.
100% payback and no membership fees
5 fish limit (2 can be under 14 but must be over 12 inches)
Dead fish penalty .25 lb per fish
Late to weigh in penalty .50 lbs per minute up to 5 minutes then 1 lb per minute up to 10 min. After 10 minutes you will be disqualified( Please call if you have issues or emergencies that will keep you from weighing in.
Blast off will be according to paid registration
If we have 25 or more boats I will split group into flights.

14 boats competed on the tar river. High,muddy water after 2 cold fronts made it difficult for everyone to catch a limit. Pleasure boaters showed up in mass numbers early in the afternoon. results are as follows:

1st place: Alvin paliani and anthony horton 5 fish limit 10.6lbs Big fish 3.9lbs(tied Big fish)
2nd place: Andrew and Alex Pittmane 4 fish limit 8.7 lbs big fish 3.9lbs(Tied Big fish)
3rd place: Chad oberhauser and pat leach 4 fish limit 5.1 lbs


half of the feild did not weigh any fish and left early


Payouts were as follows

1st: 315
2nd: 70
3rd: 40

I personally added 5 dollars to the pot to make the payouts easy
