    300 HPDI water pressure

My 300 hpdi's water pressure is at 22 at idle. When on throttle it jumps to 30psi and max out on the gauge eventually. Anything I should be worry about. My research I hear people say as long as it's above 12 psi I should be fine but I just have an uneasy feeling that my numbers are not similar to anyone's I've seen online. Prop to pad is 3.5 currently. I am looking to adjust it to 3.25 and possibly even 3" to to gain some top end. Is 12psi the number I need to watch once I see the dip lower back the prop to pad?

A 300 hpdi with 22 psi at idle?? Either you have a unicorn or a bad gauge. I would try a different gauge as I have never seen a Yamaha v-6 two stroke with hardly any pressure at idle let alone 22psi. My guess because of our warm winters your gauge froze. CJ

I noticed yesterday that at idle my VZ225 shows "0" at idle. It actually alarmed me at first but the "pee" stream was good. I actually forgot to check it yesterday while I was running it above idle.

My 300 doesn't indicate any pressure at idle. 20-plus running down the lake.
