    Jackplate for Sabre

Restoring a 89 Sabre, is 8" too much setback? Not sure of what motor I'll be putting on it yet but most likely a Merc.

No idea, bought a hull and trailer. My guess is that it came off with the motor.

I believe the Hyd. CMC was what everyone was using back in 1989. I had one on all my boats through the 90's. Used Bob's from 2003 or so and on all my Saltwater boats but now have an Atlas on my Ranger. The Atlas is more accessory friendly meaing you will need the sandwich style Power Pole brackets with the CMC. I would definately shout out to BCB and get their recommendation on which way to go.

Newer Sabre's come with a manual 8" plate. I could be mistaken, but I think the older models were 6" manual. I'd call BC
