    Ultrex on ‘03 TR20

Have a 45” ultrex on the way to put on my 2003 TR20. I’ve seen some people talk about needing a wedge? Am I going to need anything special to mount it?

Might need to put new holes for the bolts the maxum did not aligned the same. Overall basically the same trolling motor

the wedge is so the tm will set level on the bow , so the shaft is straight up ad down so the transducer will read under the front of boat

You can contact Chad Ashmore at Ashmore Marine Products about the wedge. He probably makes the best one on the market right now.

I’ve bought a bow & console panel from Chad. He makes some great stuff. I don’t put a transducer on my trolling motor, I just use it on the back, so I shouldn’t need the wedge, right?

i feel like the wedge takes some stress off of the shaft, but shafts are lifetime warranty so your call.
