    20i vs 2019 FX21 LE ride

How is the ride in rough water from one to the next? My father in law has a 2007 or 2008 20i and the ride is fantastic and it handles well. It just porpoises pretty bad at low speed.

Im considering buying a 2019 FX21 LE. I haven’t rode in the FX boats and was curious to how close the ride was to a 20i.

Ive owned a Stratos 195 Pro XL, 2008 Triton TR-20X, and my current boat is a 2016 Nitro Z20. The Triton was fast and took waves ok but would rattle your teeth out if you didn’t hit it perfect. The Nitro is about average all the way around.

I came out of a 2014 21i class to a 2019 fx21le. The iclass was an awesome ride, the fx is a great ride, close, the fx is more nimble. Response and handling feels more crisp...

I had a 07 21i which I preferred over the 20i during test drives. The 21i was phenomenal, I currently have a 21FX 2017 model which is the same as the 19 Hull. It’s a great boat, my 21i was a touch faster but I didn’t have the same weight on it. I think the 21FX rides great.

I had a 2008 20i and now I have a fx21 le. The fx rides great. The I class did as well, but the Fx is more responsive.
