    Electric/switch panel help

    1999 TX(same as TR)21
1.Fuel gauge quit working so i replaced sending unit. Still didnt fix it.
    2. I cleaned the ground wires on the back of the gauge. Still didnt work.
    3. When i turn on master switch for the switch panel and turn o
n nav lights switch the gauge goes all the way past full and theres a relay with several wires behind the switch panel that makes a buzzing sound.
    4. Replaced the relay with same results and none of pumps come on nor the manual bilge.
I'm lost can anyone explain what to do. Everything worked except for fuel gauge until i cleaned the ground wires on the back of the gauge. Also theres 2 green wires and 1 red wire going to fuel sending unit. One of the green wires was on the middle post of old sending unit and one red and green were grounded. I put them back the same way and nothing. So i put red wire on middle of sending unit and 2 green wires on the ground with same results.

Red (should really be pink) is the ONLY wire that goes on the center insulated stud. Green and Black wires are GROUNDS.

Take the wires off of the sending unit. Touch them together and the fuel gauge will go all the way over if it is ok. if the gauge don't move then it is the wiring or the gauge
