Henderson Bay - Lake Ontario

Heading to Harbor End Marina for a weekend of Small mouth fishing. Cannot keep any but can fish them.

Anyone have a clue on where to start since I have never been there before or on East Coast for that matter.

Is it Jerkbaits, tubes, senkos....? water temp about 52 I hear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can’t fish for bass before next weekend in Jefferson County/Ontario/ 1000 islands. Even catch and release is off limits so if you’re up there before then expect to be visited by the ECon

Just wondering. Is water level high again this year?

Yes the water is high. Doing a quick google search looks like the water level is continuing to rise but no new reports have been updated since beginning of June. Last month Little Sodus Bay had a speed limit of 5mph for the entire bay. I haven’t been up there since May but I know it’s still very high for this time of year.

As far as I know the only bay without a 5mph limit is Sodus Bay where it is a 5 mph within 1000' from shore
I still stop way short of 1000' because the flooding is pretty bad

Yes Sodus is open and PACKED on nice weekends, plus now tournaments every weekend. BUT IT IS 5MPH 1000feet thats 333 YRDS FROM SHORE.......... DO NOT VIOLATE THIS trust me lol

Yeah but you have to launch your boat from the parking lot....its that high
