Lanier Report. 4-14-06

Fished the mid lake area from 730 till about 4. Caught several fish today. For a change they were all keepers. Had a great day on the water till I found that somebody nailed my boat trailer while I was out. Looked like they hit it with the front of their vehicle while backing out. Did a good bit of damage, even moved it a foot or 2 when they hit it. If anybody was at Balus Creek ramp today and might have seen somebody "in an incident" Shoot me an email at edchad@mindspring.com

I have already notified the sheriffs dept and there will be a reward for any information that could help me find out who did this. It wouldnt have been that hard to leave a note. It is a Triton trailer (for a 21 ft TR21X) pulled by my black and silver Dodge 4WD pickup. Any help would be appreciated.

Ed, that really makes me mad. Can't believe people I hope someone saw the *$%#@%& who did it. Same thing happened to my trailer while we were on Lanier for our last get together. I did not notice it until I got home.

Its pretty pathetic that someone wouldnt leave a note and contact info. Now Im jumping thru hoops with the ins company. I had a reply over at Woodys and someone nailed them at six mile yesterday also. No note left.

Sorry to hear about that Ed .....

My trailer got hit 4 or 5 years ago at Allatoona ... the guy left all info for me to get in touch with him.... cell # , home phone # , address and all ..... little bit of damage , not much at all .... I called him , just to let him know it wasnt much ... and thanks for being an honest injun !!!

That happened to me right after I got my boat, and I was lucky the guy left his infor with the tourny director, of course took me 3 months to get it handled after a call with a threat of sueing him!! Hope you get it worked out bud!
