    2019 Levante Jerkbait Special...what reel?

Picked up a Levante Jerkbait Special this morning and now I need a reel for it. I have dozens of them to put on but here are some my thoughts:

    SV103H or XS
    SS SV103SH
    Steez SV103XS
    SV105P or SH
    TDZ 105H
    Megabass IP68
    Zillion 100SHA
    TD-X Air Metal 103H

    Curado 70
    Maybe order a Curado DC

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and best wishes on the water.

I wish I had an SV105 SH that I could use to cast smaller jerkbaits.....

I’d probably go with the SS SV out of those. But that’s based on what I have read as I’m not a Daiwa guy at all. IP68 would be my second choice.

I don’t like fast reels for jerkbaits so that’s the other reason I’m saying these two.

I was also thinking that or the SV103P which is slower too. I have too many options :) which isn't a bad thing!

On a side note, does anyone know the rear grip length of the Jerkbait Special? Thank you.

Give me a day or two and I will get that measurement. On duty today but will check tommorrow if I can.

Shimano Aldebaran MGL 50/51 - 4.8oz. since you'll be working the combo pretty hard to impart movements, lightweight combo is crucial so you can remain on the water longer and not be fatigued.

Bingo. For jerkbaits, Aldebaran is king. Steez would be next choice.
