Phoenix 721 to Bullet 21 SST?

I am looking at trading my 2018 Phoenix 721 for a 2019 Bullet 21 SST. I grew up fishing out of a Bullet 21 XD. Thought about ordering a 21 SST when I ordered my Phoenix but decided against it at the time. Anybody on here made a similar switch? Wanting to make sure I am making the right decision. It's been 10+ years since I've owned a Bullet and I've only owned a 21'10". Will I be happy going back to the Bullet after growing use to the larger front decks and "better" storage layout? And would the 21 SST be the right choice after coming out of the larger boat? I'm thinking it may be time to go back to my roots! Curious to hear yalls thoughts and opinions.

If your looking for speed, it's got that covered, but you have to set it up for either speed or fish. It will not do both bas d on my experience.

I took my beating and trade into a new Ballistic.
why didn't you go back to a Phoenix ? Something wrong with that also? Why buy a boat with a 250 then switch to a 300 btw? 8 hrs is not enough seat time to dial in a Bullet , I found a hydraulic jack plate helps with fishing load/top speed prop set ups ... just a matter of time before something is wrong with the Ballistic , no fault of the boat. Well good luck with it!

Ya OK , first off you post crying about the gel cracks and call out Teresa as being no good because she said gel cracks are not covered under warranty but say she said she will get them repaired for you .. seriously dude sounds to me she was hooking you up , then you complain the front deck is to small to fish .... did it shrink after you bought the boat? You saw it before and complain after .. so any possibility whoever hung the second motor flexed the transom and created the gel cracks? You call it judgmental if you want I call it just reading what you wrote.

Had a friend that had a 21XD. Went to a Phoenix. He said he misses his Bullet big time even though he said the Phoenix was a great boat with some cool features. Said he missed the ride and the thrill he got when he put the hammer down. He also said he missed the attention when you pulled up to the ramp or stops on the way to the lake.

To me honestly there is no other boat. I couldn't see myself own anything but a bullet now. I owned triton, stratos and ranger prior to my bullet.

I hope everyone thinks bullets are terrible, i like having the only one around. :)

Jim Fowler what are you expecting going on bullet pages talking crap? If you wanted to express yourself pm the guy, instead you make it public and thin get upset when you get a reaction. Most people on here have had good experiences with bullet including myself do I think there perfect no it’s man made. Would I be upset in your shoes hell yes biggest reason I’m afraid to buy new.

Hyperflow, wish we could have met up when I was in Ontario, had a blast, can't see myself in anything other than a Bullet, nothing's perfect, but a Bullet does it for me!

I have 2010 RDC that doesn’t have a stress crack anywhere..... and if the the deck is too small.....well your crazy OP.. it’s a freaking landing strip up there. With that said, I had a 2000 model 20xd that had minor stress cracks by the motor in 2011 when I bought it......nothing ever changed. It never got worse, and a was a 90mph boat all day fishing with a Hammer.

I have a 21xrs and the front and rear decks are plenty big enough for me. Not sure about the ss boats though.

All of the Bullet decks feel a lot narrower than boats like the Phoenix 921, Ranger 520, etc. If you are used to fishing from one those it will be a big change going to a Bullet. If you are the type of guy who never puts rods on the deck it isn't a big deal. But when you put 6-8 rods up there they get in the way.
