    2002 90 HP Mercury

It's a 2 stroke that runs great. The problem I have is when I put it back on the trailer and trim up the motor. I get a lot of oil in the splashwell. Look like oil and fuel are leaking out. When I pull off the cowl I can't see any leaks. What would cause this?

Is it just oil, or oil AND fuel?
    Big difference.
If it's blue, and just oil, then it's probably your oil filler cap. Common problem with these engines.
If it smells like gas, then your floats are sticking, or you have a fuel line leak somewhere.
I wouldn't advise running it until you figure out which.

It's oil only. It's not leaking from the filler cap.
