    Oxygenators

I have Oxygenators with the switches on my z20. It is now getting hot in the Northeast so will be using them shortly. I turned them on last weekend while at a tourney and didn't see any bubbles coming from them. How do I know they are on? The rigging was done by Pros Choice so I am sure they are connected correctly.

Should have a green power light on them, at least mine do when the switch is on. The bubbles are very small and I only see them when things are very still.

So it sounds like there is nothing to fix and you should assume they are working.

Turn on the recirc pump and verify. Easy to check its working correctly in the driveway.

Yes hard to tell they are working as it is more of a chemical reaction based system. If you have them on in your driveway and the water is still it may look like a cloud of smoke in water but hard to see.

Do they all have on/off switches? I purchased my 2015 Nitro Z9 used but I don't see a switch for the oxygenators.

No that is an option, otherwise they work when the recirc button is turned on.

I took the poor man's approach. I placed a larger minnow bucket aerator in my engine compartment and drilled a mall hole the same size as the tubing into the livewells ABOVE the fill line and tie rapped the air stone to the divider. The batteries will last about 3 tournaments. Only $20. For $35 you can buy the one that hooks up to a battery.

Yeah. Your right. That’ll make you poor. But the battery store will like you.
